Aircraft Fleet

Learn to fly in one of our legend aircraft!

Our Fleet

Our training fleet contains legends of basic training, tailwheel, aerobatic, and warbird aircraft. All our aircraft are in excellent condition and maintained to the highest standards. We offer competitive pricing, highly experienced instructors, and one of the widest variety of training programs anywhere in the US.

Cessna 172

The Cessna 172 is the gold standard aircraft in basic flight training. Our Cessna 172s, made by The Cessna Aircraft Company, can carry four people including the pilot. Our Heber 172 boasts a 195hp engine allowing for good performance even on those high and hot days in Utah. Fully IFR capable our Skyhawk is equipped with a Garmin 530, dual VORs, and digital engine monitoring. Our Provo 172 sports a State-of-the-Art Garmin all glass cockpit. We believe in training with both types of avionics better prepares pilots for the real world where many companies still operating aircraft with “steam guages,” while providing exposure to the “glass cockpit” prepares our pilots for more modern equipment.

SUPER DECATHLON

The Super Decathlon, or “Super D” is a two-seat conventional gear aerobatic trainer capable of performing all basic aerobatic maneuvers, including sustained inverted flight. This plane is also utilized in our Private Pilot Syllabus for Upset Recovery and Spin Training, providing our students with invaluable “tailwheel” experience to enhance stick and rudder skills.

It is the gateway to the Pitts advanced spin and competition aerobatics. It is also a perfect for our warbird aerobatics course with a slower roll rate and an hourly rate that won’t break the bank.

T-6 TEXAN

Train like the Aces of WWII! The North American T-6 is one of the most iconic aircraft in U.S. military history. They called it the “Pilot Maker” due to the great balance between straight forward flying characteristics with great feedback and requirement for sound fundamentals to fly the plane well. The T-6 is both demanding and rewarding to fly.

The T-6 must be mastered to qualify for any of the WWII fighter type aircraft but is also a great end unto itself. We will give you the skills to safely and confidently operate one of the all time aviation legends!

PITTS S2C

Since its first flight in 1944, the Pitts Special series of competition aerobatic biplanes designed by Curtis Pitts has accumulated many competition wins. This legendary biplane does require advanced tailwheel skills, but most anyone with the desire to learn can become competent at flying the Pitts. When you are ready for the next level in aerobatic or spin training, our highly experienced instructors will happily oblige!

Our S2C is the latest in a long list of superlative designs by Mr. Pitts and is a delight to fly. Get your advanced tailwheel instruction in our Pitts S2C!
